Captain Brian began fishing when he was barely big enough to hold a rod and reel with his father. Those humble beginnings on the banks of a small farm pond would develop into a life long obsession with fishing and the outdoors. Ten months out of the year Brian would fish with his family anywhere from the Chesapeake Bay, to the Gulf Stream waters off North Carolina, but Brian's favorite place to fish was on the Eastern Shore. His fondest memories fishing with his family were made in the salt marshes in front of Wachapreague and the productive waters off Cape Charles.
After graduating Salisbury University, Brian decided he would pursue his dreams and dedicate his life to the water. Since then, he has made his living working aboard charter boats and fishing commercially, having been fortunate to work for some of the best skippers on the Atlantic coast.
Through the years Brian's love and dedication to the shore have grown with each season. The calm waters of the Pocomoke provide a welcomed respite from the tumultuous waters off the coast, and are ready to be enjoyed year round! Its is on these serene, unspoiled waters on the shore that Brian is at his best. "There is no greater thrill in all of fishing, than to make the perfect cast, and feel the bite!" says Capt. Brian. These experiences on the river inspire the same feelings and excitment as those Saturday morning's at Mr. Porter's pond when he was a boy.
